The process to become a board approved licensed therapist takes years to complete!
Kaitlyn has successfully graduated with her master’s degree from the National Catholic School of Social Service at The Catholic University of America, where she completed at least 600 hours in a clinical practicum that focused on diagnostic, prevention, and treatment services.
Kaitlyn is pending approval by the state board to engage in supervised clinical experience toward the 3,000 hours that are required for her to be eligible to take the board exam in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
Currently, Kaitlyn is supervised by Kelly Krissel, LCSW.

I have years of experience working with individuals who are concerned about their mental wellness and/or have experienced trauma. I use a strengths-based perspective to help you identify both your resilience and the resources in your environment that will empower you to overcome any barriers you may face.
