Supporting clients in Virginia.

The process to become a board approved licensed therapist takes years to complete!

Juliet has successfully graduated with her master’s degree from Fordham University, where she completed at least 600 hours in a clinical practicum that focused on diagnostic, prevention, and treatment services.

Currently, Juliet has been approved by the state board to engage in supervised clinical experience toward the 3,000 hours that are required for her to be eligible to take the board exam in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Currently, Juliet is supervised by Kelly Krissel, LCSW.

Hello! My name is Juliet – I’m a mom of three and lawyer-turned-therapist who is passionate about working with postpartum women. Being a new mother involves so many changes – to your relationships, your responsibilities, your body and hormones, and your identity. With all of that change, it’s normal to feel isolated, overwhelmed, anxious, or depressed. And yet sometimes it feels like we “should” be able to handle it all on our own. Reaching out for help can be hard, but it can be a really important step towards getting back to feeling like the best, most authentic version of yourself.

My approach to therapy is person-centered, practical, and collaborative. I’m interested in learning about your goals, your story, and working together to help you be the person and parent that you want to be. I use a combination of approaches, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness-based therapy, narrative therapy, and psychoeducation, to tailor an approach that is right for you. I hope you’ll reach out, and I look forward to working with you.
