Hello, my name is Cindy. I am a clinical social worker with over 25 years of experience helping people of all ages cope with life’s challenges. As a daughter, wife, and mother; I understand the daily balance of caretaking responsibilities. My hope is to provide you with insight and tools to help you move through daily life stronger and better equipped to respond to these challenges.
My professional and personal experience has led to a special interest in working with women’s health issues, chronic childhood life threatening illness, and local military families. I have a strong belief in the benefits of mind body spiritual self-care through yoga and energy therapy.
It is vital to care for yourself so you can care for others, which is easier said than done.
We will utilize a person centered approach toward identifying your goals for therapy. I will create a safe space to discuss those experiences that led you to therapy; whether it is the daily grind, trauma, grief/loss, anxiety, depression, or something else. As a holistic practitioner, we will explore the mind body connection through mindfulness and cognitive behavioral approaches. Together, we will work one breath at a time towards your goals.
