Over the course of our lives, we all experience transitions that interrupt our sense of calm, consistency, predictability, and balance. Embarking on the journey of expanding one’s family is one such transition. Whether your path to motherhood is meticulously orchestrated, medically supported, or happened by surprise, each endeavor is a nuanced experience filled with its own joys, challenges…all of which can happen before you bring your little one home!

Regardless if you are trying to grow your family, a new a parent, or on child number three, your physical, emotional, familial, and financial routines can be thrown in disarray. The stress can lead to overwhelming feelings of anxiety, depression, or just not feeling like yourself.  Moreover, the pressure to view motherhood with rose-colored glasses leaves women feeling alone and ashamed for having a different experience. But you don’t have to suffer in silence. Allow me to support you!

I’m Shaunna Evans and it’s my passion to help women and families navigate parenting obstacles one step at a time.

I embrace a strengths-based, person-centered approach to therapy. I believe each person is the expert of their lives and within them possess the necessary tools to manage emotions and overcome life’s hurdles. Drawing from the evidence-based modalities to include Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution focused Therapy, and Psychoeducation, we can collaborate to identify and explore what concerns you most along your journey. From sleepless nights to intrusive thoughts, to overwhelming feelings of worry and despair, my goal is to provide a safe space for you as we map out a plan to evolve from surviving to thriving during this amazing time in your life!

I’m ready when you are! I look forward to speaking with you soon!
