The process to become a board approved licensed therapist takes years to complete!

Lauren is in her final year of her graduate program and is completing the 600+ hour clinical practicum requirement that focuses on diagnostic, prevention, and treatment services.

Upon graduation, Lauren will apply for approval by the state board to engage in supervised clinical experience toward the 3,000 hours that are required for her to be eligible to take the board exam.  In the meantime, Lauren is closely supervised by independently licensed therapists.

Hello!  I’m Lauren and I’m completing my master’s degree in Counseling at Northwestern University.

My own experience with the fertility journey, the postpartum experience, and parenting a young child through developmental delays brought me to the meaningful work of working with hopeful, expecting and new moms. Whether you are trying to conceive and wondering how it will work out in the end, looking to regain your balance after the life changing shift into motherhood, or feeling overwhelmed by all that parenting can throw at you sometimes, I’m here to listen.
